That Time I Fell Down

Mama's Losin' It

MamaKat gives weekly writing prompts, and while I haven't done one in a while, I decided to tackle one today.  Here are the writing prompts to choose from:

That area of my knee is now a weird pink color and will probably be that way the rest of my life.

So that's just one of my stories about a time I fell down.

Ouch! I've had more of those moments then I'm prepared to admit publicly :-). It's almost a good thing when you actually get hurt because then you get to pull the indignant "see and you were going to laugh at me" card. Don't worry about the scar, it's the battle-mark of motherhood.

Great post!

The whack on the butt story is too hilarious. I do things like that myself-one time at my husband's office party I went up to a man I thought was my husband and put my arm around him and said "Hey Honey." It wasn't my husband!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Valerie, that is funny! I've often been afraid I'd do that sometime.

Thanks for commenting, everyone! Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving.

Ouch!!! It never fails that I'm the one falling down anywhere we go. One time I tripped over the same rock in my parent's backyard about 3 times, and I hit my knee each time in the same exact spot.
