1. Have you (only you..not a group) ever won first place in anything?
When I was in first grade, I won a poster contest at school to advertise the annual spaghetti dinner fund raiser. My prize was a free spaghetti dinner. :-)

Usually not in the winter, but once I lose my first 5%, I plan to reward myself with a pedi.

Hazel is a weird word. Surely by now there must be a more poetic word for such an unique and unusual eye color! One of my daughters has "hazel" eyes.

Never thought about hazel being a weird word--but you're right. My eyes are hazel, too, and while I like that, they could have chosen a better descriptive word.
